Werkeha Amanuel, who goes by Maya, is a first generation Tigrayan-American Illustrator & Graphic Designer. Currently studying at the Maryland Institute and College of Art (MICA) as a candidate for an Illustration BFA. Her biggest inspirations and subjects for work on are family, her ethnicity & culture, and politics.
